Recollection Of The Buddha by Shaila Catherine
The Buddha taught a broad range of meditation practice -- far more extensive than simply observing sensations and breath. Practitioners can use six classic meditation subjects to nurture calmness, focus attention, inspire patience persistence, gain confidence in the efficacy of the path, and contemplate the nature of kamma, action, and mind. The six recollections are: Buddha, Dhamma, Sangha, Virtue, Generosity, and Heavens.
This is the first talk in the series, Recollection Of The Buddha and is by Shaila Catherine.

Seeing Through the Net of Illusion by Jaya Rudgard
Mindfulness has been part of my life since I first discovered it as a teenager in the 1980s. From 1996-2005 I lived as a Theravadan Buddhist nun in the Forest Sangha in the UK with Ajahn Sumedho as my teacher. In this tradition mindfulness in all aspects of daily life is the cornerstone of practice, so I learned first hand why the Buddha described it as the “direct path” out of suffering. This is because it takes us beyond any religion or dogma to learn from our direct experience and begin to see clearly for ourselves what leads to suffering and what leads to freedom.

Currently living in the high country of northern Arizona, Greg's love of nature and the outdoors deeply informs both his practice and teaching.
