Ajahn Brahmali was born in Norway in 1964, first became interested in Buddhism and meditation in his early 20s after a visit to Japan.
He ordained as a monk with Ajahn Brahm as his preceptor in 1996. He teaches Pali and the Vinaya ( monastic discipline) to the monks at Bodhinyana Monastery near Perth, in Western Australia.
